We have been talking a lot about super foods but one essential isn’t a food at all – water! Why is water so important?

-Hydration is key, even in winter. Staying hydrated keeps skin healthy.
-Water helps flush out toxins through the kidneys.
-Drinking enough water may help you avoid colds and the flu this season.
-Experts suggest at least eight 8 ounce glasses per day.
-Staying hydrated can help lower stress, raise energy levels and prevent cramping during workouts.
-Remember to take in extra water for long cardio sessions, before, after and during a workout.
