Non-fat plain Greek yogurt can be part of a great breakfast, light lunch, or snack!
Why it’s a super food:
-High in calcium – about 1/4 of the daily calcium requirement in one serving
-High in protein – Greek yogurt has about double the protein of regular yogurt
-Contains probiotics which help aid digestion
Try this as a great quick breakfast:
-2 cups plain non-fat Greek yogurt (avoid flavored yogurt, which can add 10-15 extra grams of sugar!)
-1 cup blueberries
-1 tablespoon honey
-1/2 cup chopped almonds
Combine all ingredients. Serves 2.
