Kiwi – A Super Fruit


Since summer has now unofficially begun, try this refreshing super fruit!

Why it’s a super food:

-Kiwis are high in Vitamin C, which is good for the immune system

-Kiwis are high in fiber, which may aid in digestion

-Kiwis are high in anti-oxidants, which helps fight damaging free-radicals

-Kiwis are a great source of folic acid

A summer recipe:

Kiwis are a great snack sliced on their own, or fantastic in a fruit salad!  Just cut up some kiwis, and add any melons, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, or any other great fruit that you have around.  It’s a great dessert!
