Green beans are a great side dish for your dinner! With Thanksgiving coming up it’s a great healthy addition to your family meal!

Try this great quinoa, almond and green bean salad!
Ingredients:
1 cup dry quinoa (prepared)
1 pound green beans, washed, with ends trimmed
1/2 cup toasted almonds
Sea salt – to taste
Olive oil – to taste
Directions:
Fill a large pot with water (leaving room for green beans). Add pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Add beans and boil for about 2 minutes. Drain in colander, rinse with cold water. Chop beans into smaller pieces, toss with almonds and olive oil. Serve over quinoa. Serves 4.
