New Blogs

Today is a really exciting and special day for me. Fit Journey has become my passion, it has become an outlet where I’m able for me to follow my passions and write about them and get incredible feedback from you and share adventures and victories and failures and everything in between.
That being said, I have felt that there have been a few things that may have been missing from the site. Some view points that I’m unable to show that I think are so important to readers.
So, today we launch two new blogs on the site.
Crystal Carlin has lost 60 pounds through changing her diet and starting to exercise. She did a complete 180 in her lifestyle and now she is at the point of hitting her goal and maintaining this amazing lifestyle change and weight loss. Crystal will be blogging about her maintenance and her very personal view on the ups and downs of keeping up with this incredible lifestyle she’s chosen. We are so thrilled, proud and honored to have Crystal on our site
The other blog we will be our very own Michelle Newman. Michelle moved from NYC, one of the Meccas of fitness to Phoenix, AZ this past year and has struggled in finding ways to match her healthy lifestyle she had in NYC. For anyone that has moved and you know it can be difficult starting new friendships, fitness regiments and maintaining a healthy lifestyle when you’re starting from square one. Michelle will take us through her AZ life. Working out in 105 degree heat, finding amazing restaurants like True Food and what to do when she just can’t.

I love having a growing Fit Journey family, I’m so happy, excited and, again, honored to have these two additions to our site. Look for Crystal’s first two posts up now and Michelle will be debuting her blog this Friday.

So, read their posts, tell them how awesome they are and, as always, thank you so much for all your support on the site.

About Julia

Is a successful NYC based makeup artist - you can see her work all over TV, in top magazines all over the world and she has been featured in the New York Times, Prevention Magazine and numerous other publications, she is the former beauty editor for Bloginity and owns a small boutique beauty business called Brush Beauty. She has had a few careers ranging from construction management to radio and everything in between, however, the constant passion in her life was always fitness. Even when she lost her way from it, she was always constantly motivated by athletes and anything movement oriented around her. She is the type of person who only gets star struck by people like Gabby Douglas, Matt Long, Pat Riley or Kerri Walsh and the thought of meeting any of them puts her stomach in little girly teenage knots. Favorite workouts: Bootcamps, Spinning, swimming and lifting alone with my headphone on.
