Detox, Day 3

Today, today was a good day.  It started out only eh.  I really didn’t sleep well.  I don’t know if it was because I had to 1- give blood at the Dr yesterday 2- do all these crazy breathing tests that left me a big light headed or 3- just a natural part of the detox, but I just felt like I was slightly awake the entire night.

1780921_10153794577260228_759218586_nI woke up, a little cranky, a lingering headache and a lot to do.  Got Lillie out the door to school and then headed back home to make my shake and get to work.  I was not a fan of the first shake I made, I just don’t think I was in the mood for it and when you only have so many choices to eat during the day, being able to choose something you like it a big deal.  So, I put it in the fridge (didn’t want to waste it), hoping my husband would want it at some point, and I made another one.  Delish!

The rest of my day went fine, I worked at As One today, but due to some internet issues I had, I went back home and worked from there.

Most of my meals were leftover repeats as I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow.

All day all I could think about was the fact that I had a Flywheel ride tonight and not just any Fly ride, but Danielle’s Biggie ride (as in the king himself – the Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggie Smalls)! I mean I could not not go to this (it deserves the double negative it was given), there was no question.

So, the first day on our call with Dr. Hyman, one of the callers asked about working out on this at a high intensity level and he mentioned to take a spoonful of coconut butter.  So, that is what I did and the ride was awesome.

Not only was the ride awesome, but I sweat differently.  It was cleaner and lighter.  It tasted almost like water as opposed to heavily salted – not that I taste my sweat, but sometimes when you’re spinning and on a big hill, there is no choice but to taste it.

I was a little worried that post class I would be a dizzy, lightheaded mess.  Nope.  Felt fine, went home and made dinner and was good to go.

Now, I’m cozied up in bed, ready to read a good book (need new book suggestions, just finished the amazing Where Did You Go Bernadette? and need something else as awesome, let me know if you have anything) and go to bed.

I hope you all have had an amazing day and are feeling awesome.

I think tomorrow will be a great feeling day.

xx
