So, after pretending I was an apparent rockstar college student this week. Going out hard one night and working till 330AM the next night, I was in bed by 830 last night and passed out by 833, I’m sure. What a good, and much needed, night’s sleep. I woke up this morning wanting to cook breakfast. So, pancakes seemed like something that would make the whole family happy.
I went right to the source, the 100 Days of Real Food site and picked their wholewheat over pancakes… and damn were they good, easy and fun to make.
Here are a few pics to check it out, but you can see the recipe by clicking the link above.
It is ONE WEEK till my tri-sprint and I will be biking, swimming and running my face off this week… till Thursday or Friday when I take the day. My tri-hero/trainer/mentor George gave me some incredible tips for my transition this week. I can honestly say that I don’t know if I would be able to have done this race without his guidance, expertise and support. I’m sure in his mind what he has helped me with, is nothing. But to me, it’s been everything and something I don’t think I could have done this race without.
I’ve also been in physical therapy this week for my shoulder. I hurt it about a year ago, but only went in this week (so dumb). Apparently, I have tendinitis in my left shoulder. It is OK. Just time to take care of it. Of course the reason I chose to take care of it now was because I just signed up for an overnight obstacle course training that As One and OCR Gear are putting on. This is going to be an amazing weekend and it is seriously underpriced, so if I were you I would get your butt signed up and come on over for it. It is going to be epic!!!
Ok- I am off to NJ for an overnight shoot… time to put my makeup hat on 😀
Can’t wait to share my week with you and don’t forget to read our newest bloggers, Crystal & Michelle’s blogs.
Have an incredible weekend.
xx
