Day #13! Total nerd on the pic!
Well, so today I went through and threw out old clothing. What a weird and strange thing to do now that I KNOW my life is changing and i’m not just hoping for the best and hoping to get healthier. I no longer have these crazy and insane goals that are unobtainable and that I know in the back of my mind are unobtainable and therefore say oh well, I know this will never work so I may as well eff it up. I have goals of being healthier and feeling good (along with loftier goals that go along with that like doing certain races and more pushups and, possibly, at some point, fitting into certain outfits) and when your goals are feeling better, stronger and healthier, they are obtainable almost immediately and they are consistently reached. This is an amazing feeling and it gave me the strength to throw away those awful pieces of comfort clothing that should have been tossed YEARS AGO. Things that may kind of still fit, but that will never fit well (bc I’m just getting strong and bc of that smaller) and that, even if it does fit well, really shouldn’t be worn.
Working out wise, today was my off day. Even on my off days, sometimes I’ll get a little something in. But, not today. Today was for family, friends and just relaxing… and maybe having a margarita or two. Luckily, my girl Alexa makes her margaritas with personally squeezed lemon and lime juice… #Legit. Yes, I did just hashtag legit. ha! She had a great little get together. Good people, good snacks, good times. Lots of #flyfamily there too!
So, tomorrow, we are back on the daily grind. I am getting a touch nervous about the Spartan Race, but it is what it is and I will experience it and really know what to expect the next time around. Also, this week we launch the redesign of the site. It will be amazing!!!
That’s all from here. Much love to you all and, while we’re all partying or hanging out excited about this extra day off tomorrow, let’s remember why we are actually off and take a moment to all of our troops who died in service keeping us safe, sound and secure.
