I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of Clarins 2014 collection including the new fragrance from Thierry Mugler and their way cool unveiling of the innovative fragrance fountain called: The Source.
First, let me say, I love it when brands treat those attending these events like royalty. Having car services picking up those attending and dropping us off post event was an amazing touch.
Walking into the room, it had a a beautiful Moroccan theme. Beautifully designed, a large group of us sat at low chairs at golden tables, drank wine and ate some lovely passed h’orderves
They showed us a few videos of the new Theirry Mugler fragrances -both from the Alien product line.
After we were introduced to the new scents, they introduced the true excitement; The Source.
The Source is an incredible way for Thierry Mugler to be able to make their incredibly stunning and amazingly intricate bottles while keeping costs down to their customers AND staying greener. Thierry Mugler sells you the first bottle empty, based on the fragrance you chose. Then you go to The Source and fill the bottle with your fragrance. This way, anytime you are low or need a refill, you no longer need a new bottle, you just need to refill the existing bottle.
Sheer brilliance.
I’ve seen things like this before, but this is, by far, the first time I’ve seen it done with class and beauty. Very exciting.
I definitely suggest that you find locations that have The Source and invite you to try this exciting way of fragrance bottle filling.
